Why should I choose Webflow for my website?

Webflow offers the best balance of design flexibility, performance, and capability for startup marketing sites. Unlike Framer, it has a more powerful CMS for content-heavy sites and better SEO capabilities. Compared to custom code, it's faster to build and easier for your team to maintain. You get a professional, fast-loading site without the ongoing technical maintenance headaches of platforms such as WordPress or the limitations of simpler builders.

How long does it take to design and build a Webflow website?

The range is 2-12 weeks, with most projects taking 4-8 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and complexity. A simpler 5-page marketing site can be done in 3-6 weeks, while more complex sites with custom CMS structures, animations, or integrations may take 6-8 weeks or longer. Timeline also depends on how quickly you can provide content, feedback, and approvals. You can get a more specific timeline estimate by scheduling a free consultation call.

Can you migrate my site from another platform to Webflow?

Yes, I can migrate your website from WordPress, Framer, Wix, Squarespace, and other platforms to Webflow. I take actions to preserve your SEO rankings by maintaining URL structure, setting up proper redirects, and transferring all metadata. The migration can either include a redesign or just recreation of your existing design in Webflow, as well as transferring content, setting up the CMS, and ensuring everything works properly before we switch over. Most migrations also include design improvements and performance optimizations as part of the process.

What if I need just design or just development?

I offer both services separately. For design-only projects, I create complete UI/UX designs in Figma that you can hand off to your development team. For development-only projects, I can implement existing designs into Webflow, whether they're from your internal designer, another agency, or Figma templates you've purchased. The starting price for these standalone services is lower than the Build package due to narrower scope, usually starting at $5,000.

Can I update the site myself after launch, or will I need your help?

You'll be able to handle common updates like changing text, swapping images, or adding blog posts. I set up the CMS to make these tasks straightforward and provide training and documentation so your team feels confident making updates. For more complex changes like redesigning sections, adding new functionality, or building custom page layouts, you'll likely want my support. That's where the Scale package comes in, giving you ongoing access for bigger updates and new features.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes. The Build package includes 30 days of post-launch support for bug fixes, minor tweaks, and questions as your team gets comfortable with the CMS. For ongoing needs, like adding new pages, building features, or making design updates, the Scale package provides 20-160 hours per month of design and development support. You can also purchase support on an as-needed basis at my standard hourly rate if you just need occasional help.

Can you build custom features that Webflow doesn't support natively?

Yes, I can extend Webflow's capabilities with custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when needed. Common examples include cookie consent management, third-party integrations with your existing tools, dynamic filtering and search, or custom user interactions. If you need features that are truly beyond what's possible in Webflow (like complex web applications with user authentication and databases), you can schedule a free consultation call and we can discuss what is possible, as well as what makes sense to build in Webflow as opposed to going fully custom.

Will we be working directly with you or a team?

You will be working with me directly. I work with a limited number of clients and I do all the work myself. Unlike some larger agencies, I won’t just delegate the work to a junior employee while continuing to charge you the full rate, you will actually get what you are paying for. This ensures that the quality will be consistent and that your project will always be top priority. The only scenario in which I will bring on additional people is if you request it and we explicitly agree on doing so.

How are these services priced?

Both one-time projects and ongoing monthly services are available and they are both priced based on an hourly rate. My standard rate for ongoing work is $125/hour, with a discounted rate of $100/hour for retainers that have a commitment of 6 months or longer. Monthly services are available with or without commitment, but the “starting at” prices displayed on this page are for 6 month commitments.

What happens if we need to pause or cancel?

Unlike hiring a full-time employee where you're locked into salary and benefits regardless of workload, monthly retainers give you maximum flexibility to maintain the service only when you need it. For 3 and 6-month commitments, you get better rates in exchange for some commitment, but you can still exit early with a 25% cancellation fee on remaining value, which is significantly cheaper than being stuck with a full-time salary when priorities shift.
